Gee, gotta love the gratitude shown by non-paying members towards the people making this site possible to use....
I don't think it matters which installation the registry points to as long as it's got the correct executables if it's using MakeAce or ffedit etc...

I ran into this last night.
As Craig's post said, dx8vb is required in both of the sys folders and needs to be registered.
Then, running the Route Riter installation and TGATool2a...
You really don't need to re-install. You simply need to fix the registry entries. Much faster than reinstalling....
These are the keys that need updating:

Yes, except for the fact the actual question was based on an inaccurate assumption that MSTS is needed for ORTS, and the response only addressed the incorrect assumptions...

Andre, if you want to sell off of DigitalRails.com in the short term, let me know.
That site redirects all sales over to a Gumroad storefront, which I've found to be reasonable for their free...
Honestly I've never checked. I don't have any downloads hosted on Google, but I suspect it all comes out of the quota for Google accounts, which is 15Gb by default. Any downloads linked on my site...
Blogspot on Google is fairly straight forward to learn. If you have an existing domain theres a way to map it to your Blogspot blog to make it easier to access.

Closing this thread, which was about trying to contact Mike. Franco accomplished that.
Some of us hold a license to include Scalerail/Scaleroads with our commercial and donation-ware route downloads.
Out of respect for Marc, until we know one way or another what's going on, I'm...
It's an obsolete app folks... it's not just what Route Riter did but the encapsulation of TSUtils that is itself a bit problematic.
But it runs mostly fine on Win10 and Win11, so having the...

My suggestion.... if you have nothing to add to the original question, keep scrolling past to the next thread.

Settle down, folks. If it turns out that the site is gone, some of us already have an agreement with Marc for redistributing Scalerail.

Hopefully it's just a matter of forgetting to renew the registration, but it wouldn't surprise me if he's had enough.
