IC New Orleans - anybody want it?

Some time ago I started a New Orleans northwards IC/CN route. But my artistic skills are next to nothing, MSTS has been discontinued, and I'm too busy doing other things.

    So, does anybody want it?...

RE: ROLLINS PASS / MOFFAT TUNNEL ROUTE UPLOADED

Okay, I'm impressed. How on earth they ever built that route I'll never know. Not one for those with vertigo.

Shortly after taking this picture I lost 12 cars and 3 engines down a ravine... it was...

Some of you may remember me working on a program to align roads and their bridges automatically (and other objects). It basically involves copying the Position() and QDirection() values from the...

RE: Easy way of doing road bridges?

Well, I've had a play. It's not perfect but I have a little program which will read a selected .w file and a list of road/bridge sections, and generate all the bridge sections that it recognises....

Easy way of doing road bridges?

I have some major interstate junctions in my route - right overhead the tracks! I need to attach the bridges to the roadwork - is there an easy way to do this, especially on the curves since there...

    Forests/depth buffers

I know MSTS has 3d depth problems at the best of times but... FORESTS? Is there a cure for trees appearing in front of each other like the rightmost tree below (which is actually furthest back)?

    RE: Bug report for XTracks

The confusion (and I'm not saying who's got it wrong) is with the definition of left and right when on bends. The way it should be considered is which way the normal route goes (ie points/switch in...

I'm trying to signal my sidings using Hank Sundermeyer's searchlight signals (v3.0). After following the instructions I'm not convinced that the aspect sequence received for entering the siding with...

Thanks for doing the honourable thing, guys. I would just like to confirm that you may spread the zip far and wide just so long as the files within are kept intact, ie no modifications.

RE: IC New Orleans - anybody want it?

Sorry, I ran out of time at the weekend. I'll try again next weekend. It should RR down to quite small a size due to the severe lack of scenery.

RE: IC New Orleans - anybody want it?

Sounds like I should just upload it with disclaimers then. I'll let you all know when - probably at the weekend.

  13. RE: ROLLINS PASS V.2---Signals on the pass?????

As few people really knew what the pass looked like, I suggest adding visible signals to the pass. IMHO anyway.

    RE: SIGNALS IN TUNNELS???????

Actually, you're right, so ignore most of what I said ;-). There is no signal outside, so it is in the tunnel.

    RE: SIGNALS IN TUNNELS???????

The signal is probably there as a last gasp chance if there is a problem raising the gate. I believe it may also be at ground level because of clearances (lot more space around the wheel level).

    RE: Amtrak Coast Starlight

I agree dictionary.com does make the 2 look very similar. It's certainly not so common to use "insure" for "ensuring safety" rather than "insuring for a sum of money" - and I read books by the...
