Just my four weekly oil change! Two mornings of IVIG infusion to counter my neuropathy. Get a free NHS lunch out of it, too!
Anyhow I've just refunded SoS, just see no point in it as things stand....

Well the latest info I’ve gleaned from the DTG forums is not encouraging…
The AI fireman debacle seems to be going on with coding now being frantically put in place to try and use the firebox door...
Thanks for clarifying Dale.
This was one of the more highly regarded UK DLCs, good news they finally got it sorted for the latest versions of Trainz.
Quick clarification - do we need to run the core Run 8 installer (well the Update V2) again after installing this, or is that action not required?
It's a bit of a stupid name for what they do, TBH. I think they fettle the areas neglected by the original route builder(s), add items like working passenger information systems so if roaming round a...
Thanks for the heads up. Will grab later.
The poor buggers who have to clean up the mess left by the So called A Team…
Further response from Matt over there is that the regulator probably needs further work as currently there is instant response to input, steam chest delay not reflected.
Really think they need to...
From discussion on the DTG forum following the last “stream”, starting to look as if this might have been rushed. Parts of the route looking a bit bare. AI fireman not working to the level of MSTS or...
There are two coal fired power stations on the A Line, one south of Jacksonville at Bostwick and the other at Stanton just south of Orlando.
I don't know of any on the SoCal or Mohawk routes.
Some of the UK power stations switched to gas from coal, somewhat ironic given the now panic over shortage of natural gas supply. In fact I don’t think we have any coal fired power stations left,...
That's interesting Mike. I'm not going to pay full price for TS2022, but if it runs better than 19 I may give it a punt once the Steam version gets a price drop.
I have a feeling R8 is choppy...
I’ve been dividing my time between TSW and Run 8 but despite buying that freight stock keep finding myself drawn back to Trans Pennine and either the Class 45 or the DMU which is definitely becoming...
It’s quite nice when that balloon fills up. But I really need to fill out my wagon collection a bit before doing too much more with humping and locals etc. Just a bit disheartening seeing all those...
Well finding myself beside the Steam gift vouchers in Asda this morning and a bit of spare cash in my pocket... I've folded and pre-ordered.
Guess that makes me the TS dot com guinea pig for this...
It’s the Florida Sunrail loco!!
Thanks Eric. If I can drag myself away from the current Big 3 (Run 8, Snowrunner & TSW) I will take a look.
It's been a while since I played them now Mike, but when they went over to FMod, something horrible happened to the default sounds in ETS2, not so much ATS. Very tinny and seemed to go straight from...
See there are two big updates on Steam for both ATS and ETS2 in my Steam download list (several Gb).
I assume that means there have been some major overhauls carried out to the game(s) - hopefully...
I don't think the Fitz has a release date yet. So far as we know, Jason and the team are still working on it. Could be weeks, even months away.
Not seen anything about Donner other than some...
I too wonder how they plan to handle station pilot/ECS duties and freight shunting, also local trains if included in the timetable. Going to look a bit odd with Jubilees on 3 coach stoppers or 8F’s...
I would be interested in that too, Sean.
The default unloading time for coal hoppers at Bostwick is seven hours, albeit that seems a little excessive given in reality these would be passing...
Just added two more wagon packs to the Run 8 collection (Mixed 1 and reefers, to get the Tropicana cars) so that kind of takes care of where the investment goes.
Actually there is a fairly mixed...
Now if Run 8 were to introduce steam traction, that would be a Day 1 purchase for me!
For that matter so would anything Alco, Baldwin or Fairbanks Morse in the diesel department.
