If it can be re-textured you can have a grain truck or a stake bed or even a flatbed.
There are a couple in the library you can do this with.

What's wrong with OR monogame?
It's the only one I use.
I've never had issues with it and ReShade is killer.

I also remember seeing, in a route, actual third rail pieces that can be placed using TSRE auto placement.
Just about any long, skinny shape could be re-textured and used using this method.

I copied and pasted the code out of the Open Rails manual. It works.
You are only going back one folder.

You can have as many passenger views as you want.
Add an Openrails folder to the car's folder and include a file with something similar to the following text.

Can't really tell from the picture, is there a short piece of track between the switch tail and the next switch?
