Just ignore it. The sounds work fine regardless.

I encourage you to look at the manuals of DLC too, as they sometimes have additional functions mapped.

I know it for a fact, because I work for the company. It's a part of optimizing the game and file structure. It also makes downloads more seamless, that way you aren't downloading thousands of files...

The .ap file structure is to make the load times quicker for the game.
