You should be able to open the coresponding shape with Shape Viewer and export the individual .dds textures as .tga files. Do whatever modifications you need to then re-export the .tga to an .ace...

Do you have a photo to reference the model and paint of the dump cars? I could probably do some if there is a suitable model available.
