Welcome to route building. What part of the world are you planning to model? There are some good primers on signaling but they vary globally.

Where's Dustin when you need him?
Looking forward to this one.....
It might be better for you to video what you're doing. Thousands of people have downloaded and installed this.
I raised a limit on the server that might help. Viewing the 3Gb update wasn't a problem on my phone...
Possibly. But you're also trying to view a >2Gb zip file in a web browser using software written when 50Mb was the unofficial limit for a single file....
I'll look to see if there's a limit that...
This is why I resurrected the tutorials.....
There's a tutorial with pictures for taking screenshots.
There's a tutorial for installing add-ons.
As our friend Vince (who created the NECv4)...
What are you having trouble with?
The NECv4 should create its own directory under your Routes folder, and then executes a batch file to execute. If that's not working, you probably don't have...
It's folded into Other Simulators, similar to what happened with DRS. Topics are prefixed "BVE" to make it easier to search on.

I'd advise not uninstalling the routes folder. There's actually very little reason to uninstall msts. It does not occupy very much space in today's drive space capacities.

Charles, the reason I kept the FL-9 is because the NH is one of Nels' favorite railroads. I might be paying the bills, but it will always be his site, and that's my daily reminder.
Go to Articles... MSTS Tutorials
There's a lot more to explore with regard to Activities, and the one tutorial won't be enough once you get started.
Appreciate that, Vince. I'll add to the file library as well.
You can view the page at https://trainsim.com/vbts/content.php?828-How-To-Create-Mini-Routes-The-Easy-Way
I've been using Boiler Black as well... much easier on the eyes when you work in a low-light office....

If you're still looking for info... the tutorials in the Articles -> MSTS Tutorials should now be available. There are a couple on Activities and one on AI trains.
A component for hosting multiplayer sessions that doesn't need the expense of a Windows server. Windows VPS's are very very costly compared to a Linux VPS, and probably more prone to security flaws.
Glad it worked.
Try this while I sort out the issues with the older version.

Yes, there is. Go to the top menu bar and under Articles, there's a How To section with tutorials.
You might have to go to page two or three to find the ones creating activities.
Those are...
Yep, I'm good with that if you can make them PDF's, so there's no question over the authorship.
I hope nobody thought we forgot about this.
Rick and I found the two halves of the fix necessary, and it should now be possible to search for "New" "Go" "BN" and "UP"
The not-short story on...
I'm the wrong one to ask -- I don't do activities or AI. I just build routes...
If they know you want to crash into them, they won't move?
