Install Open Rails and enjoy the sim again.
No one will share it, email support at trainsimulations.
And what do you expect we can do with no log file?
A very large log file would indicate some problems that you may want to fix?
What is your install directory?
MSTS compatible refers to "adhesion factor correction" being at 130%
Put it back to 100% to be realistic.
The only reference that I can find to the sms file is in the ssource.dat.
The entry exists in the msts bnsf seligman2 and the orts bnsf seligman.
Download the files again.
What program are you using?
What settings are you using?
What file type are you trying to upload?
What error do you get?
Hi Barrie,
There is nothing useful in the log.
What does 88.1 do?
Forgot about that, I changed the height to fix mine.
Try these sigcfg files, fixed the same problem for me.
>Also Everything Was Running Fine Till I Installed Ohio Rail and Started Running the Batch Files for Track Textures.
Ok it is the copying textures that caused the problem, I will check the batch...
>C/program Files(x86)\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\Routes\EMRR2
This install location is known to cause problems, at some time you may want to install as per steam4me win7 msts install.
If the player train starts on the left hand track, it works ok.
I have just run the original activity with MG87.1 with no problems.
I will try with Gerry's changes now?
To be able to assist we need the whole or log.
If you give me an activity name, I will find the smoke file for you.
These are the files causing smoke.
The amount of smoke used to be ok with MSTS. When OR cam along the amount of smoke increased.
The smoke comes from a steam eng file in the consist.
Simplest thing to do is to rename the eng file...
NEVER download drivers from anywhere else other than the manufacturer.
What drivers are you after?
My version of the trainlib.ocx is a later version and a month later in date?
Thanks Carlos.
That one got some action.......
running it now
