That reskin looks really good.
You've led a sheltered life then Mike ..... lol
Apart from checking the file using Ged's SMS checker and checking the line number with notepad++ I didn't actually change anything. Yet I now have the click whenever changing throttle notches....Also...
I remember in the early 2000s running a German route (Harz?) which MSTS would chuck you out of the 1st time you forgot to sound the whistle at a crossing. Certainly kept you on your toes....
Or even, heaven forbid, graffiti.....
Thanks for that Ged. Problem is, the streams affected point to "control" and "econtrol" wav files. These files produce a "click" when played which I think is the notch sound I'm not getting when...
A little help please guys. The attached OR log shows a problem with line 362 of the attached SMS file. Unfortunately Ged's excellent SMS checker doesn't show up the problem and I'm not proficient...
Correction - Shows in the log as "unknown shader name" and "unknown lighting" for absolute marker.
Thanks Jon but the log wasn't showing anything. Reason was that I've now discovered that the problem wasn't snow-texture related. It seems to have been caused by incorrect placing of some of the...
Hi guys, Anyone else run the CP111 winter activity on TS's Mactier route and got black areas on some of the rocks? I've copied over the snow textures from Mullan but still getting black looks!
I sort of half agree with Vern. I always disable the "horn rings bell" line in the player eng files but I WOULD kinda like the bell to ring on AI trains as they sound their horn at crossings (as...
A search of the file library under "animated" brings up ....... radiotowerlights.zip...... Any good?
Looking good Pete!
Yes the rocking motion is what stands out for me.
I'd been putting off installing MonoGame for a while but the AI crossing horn sequence was what finally swayed me. Many thanks csantucci :)
For me the Bin Patch. ConBuilder and then Jim Ward's (Sniper) invisocars come to mind....
Politician?
To answer my own question - No, just the same single blow. Must get around to installing MG soon...
Hmm wonder if that works on the latest testing version too..
Isn't that the AUS NSW ZZ route?
Just going through my sound files now with version 2. Many thanks for making a really useful tool even better!
My understanding is that Open Rails needs some of the folders contained in MSTS. I stand to be corrected...
As an old-time user of MSTS back in the early years of this century who then returned to it after an absence of 15 years, I can confirm that Open Rails is indeed the best to use...
You are correct Rich. I noticed my own post in the thread suddenly disappeared the following day.
Just testing Dave..... :)
