They have the wrong Units in the maxpower lines of the eng file. They have kN but should be kW. N=newtons which is a unit of force, W=watts which is a unit of power.
The installme.bat is for any drive, but Hamilton Norfolk must be in the MSTS Routes folder with all default routes present for it to work.
I think that the problem lies in the fact that Bin was not hosted at UKtrainsim, but had its own website in CZ territory which is now defunct. UKTS was nothing but a clickthrough.

Should be no problem. OR has an option to switch cabs like MSTS had, except in OR it is just a keypress.
I have just checked the v2 archive files and confirm that there are indeed two locomotive sets in the texture and shapes folders of the version 3 update. As to what folder they should be in, no idea...
Unlike MSTS, Open Rails does not show stations in the track monitor unless in activity mode, and even then, will only show those that are set as stops for the player.
There should be nothing except Open Rails files within the Open Rails folder structure because by design, when updated EVERYTHING in those folders is deleted before the update is run.
The...
Last Facebook post was almost a year ago. All links I have tried go to a Not Secure page which refuses to load.
I don't think you can stop the pop up from happening as it will contain instructions for the next stage of the activity, but you can make it so it does not stop the activity action. I thought it was...
no need for extra track nodes in OR, and proper strength couplers work fine. Loops still need a bit of special care to make them work, mainly signalling.
Zip the full logfile, on your desktop if logging is enabled. Attach it to another post in this thread.
The MSTS activity editor can be used to make a path if you have MSTS installed. The alternative is the ORTS Trackviewer.
In both editors you load the route, find your start location and make the...

Hi Barrie
Indianrailsim is correct. The file irmemu.zip in the library here does contain the items you are looking for.
Merv
I have found that it is just about impossible to maintain MSTS timings when running an MSTS activity in OR.
I use the database at http://www.indianrailsim.com/ to track down those elusive files. It does have a flaw though, not every item of Indian rolling stock is in the database. In those cases I look for...
fwiw MS Edge is now using the Chrome engine, makes for quite a fast browser now.
The original route contains tiles that are larger than OR can display. Far as I know there was a patch made for it by the route builder.
The Train Simulator route is a very small section of the real route.
I have considered making the route, but it needs an awful lot of very good scenic items that stand close scrutiny due to the...
I dont see much difference, but then the unstables are now on monogame and the weeklies will be sure to follow soon once the bugs are sorted out, mainly bringing the video fixes across from the MG to...
The file here is just a couple of screenshots and a link to obtain the download. The final download is an update to the route.
The only OR tool is Trackviewer that allows you to make the required paths before moving to making the activity and placing consists. This can be open at the same time as the TSRE activity/consist...
Finally got the consists sorted for the activity. Had to make some changes with different folder names and substituting in places. The route files are an update to the original route, so just add...
