This applies only to OpenRails.
No. The textures will map correctly regardless of the size.
You can bump them up as big as you want.
I will usually take a 512 and double or quadruple the size which makes it easier to work with.
Once you're done editing the texture you can leave it big or...
Last time I went computer shopping I got an Nvidia GTX 770 w/4GB ram, 16 GB of matched high speed RAM and a 600 watt 80% efficient power supply.

Looks like you are running windows 11 64 ARM on a Mac.
It seems like a glitch in the video processing, possibly caused by incompatible hardware or drivers.

Installing is just a matter of creating a folder and unzipping the ORMG download into it.
You can have as many OR folders as you want.
That way you can do an "install" without modifying or deleting...
It's not really.
Once you're happy with the texture and are at a place where you'd normally save and convert to .ace instead hit Ctrl+c to copy it Ctrl+n to create a new texture image and then...
You're more than welcome Rob.
My 0.02, I work on textures as a .tga or .bmp to prevent degradation and then I'll copy the finished texture and paste it on to a blank, or working texture, to save as...

Of course if you use MSTS this isn't going to work but using OR it did.
I use...

It'll find your files unless you've wiped them with a file wiper. You haven't.
