I hope NS takes this idiot to court and plays hardball... make an example of him, show that railroad's aren't a charity. Just because someone is an idiot doesn't mean they're entitled to money for it!
Just curious, is there any one point you don't like? I've stood next to F59PHI's on departure, I think the sounds are pretty good.
The weight isn't the issue - it's the distribution. Having the loco up front allows it to take the brunt of an impact, rather then push the lighter cars into it.
I think 111 would have faired much...
I'd just like to point out that push-pull doesn't make a different to f=ma, but it does make all the difference during an impact. Locomotives just weigh so much more, they will slice right through a...
If the harddrive is definitly DOA, there's no point in trying to wipe it. Wiping would be prefered, simply smashing it is just wasteful. I'd reccomend something like Cybercide for wiping. That meets...
Hey Mingo, glad to see you've returned. I was only able to enjoy a few of your reskins, but those few were excellent!
Not true, you didn't miss me :p
The Streamlines cabs aren't a representation of the entire cab, but rather of the view you would have sitting in the engineer's/conductor's seat. Quite realistic IMO, after all you don't run a train...

Was number three on a Google search for "Danny Beck".
Hey guys, sorry that I haven't gotten anything with the map done lately. Right now I'm trying to finish all my classes and final projects, when I'm done with those I'll get more done with this.
...
Shawn, unless somebody has operations there I think I'll leave them out. The north east is getting so crampted already, adding too many routes would make it near impossible to see. But if somebody...
Well, I have good news and bad news.
Good news, I've sorted out the transcon routes I think. And added the Stowe Northern.
Bad news is that the cramped New England areas don't have enough...
Could somebody please post a map/AE view of the Stowe Northern? That way I can get the profile of the line right.
Still to do:
-Add Stowe Northern (once I get a map)
-Add LSR&C
-Fix transcon...
Update!
Both the Barry & Gallup Western and the Western Maine Rail Company have been added to the map! Also the newly renamed Pennsylvania & Lehigh Valley has been updated.
A few more serious...
Because my map tracing skills aren't up to par... and I didn't wonder why some New England states had three capital cities marked :o Apologizes to all our eastern friends!
Thanks for the map,...
Hey Barry, I've looked through Google maps to find a general profile of the rail line, does this look about right?

With the scale of the main map I...
Hey Nate, I started one of those a long time ago, didn't I send you and your 4-stroke friends a copy? :D
Anyways, here's what the pretty-to-look-at version of the map looks like right now (it...
Where's the something borrowed, and something blue?
As an active Scout, I'm certainly honored UP did this. I know it seems plain compared to previous tribute schemes, but IIRC those were all towards a war effort or towards a part of UP. Hats off to...
I've heard rumors that on Metrolink (SCAX) locomotives there are two horns, a P2 (primary) and a K5LA (backup). I think this is correct, I have seen Metrolink use the K5LA (rare but it happens), and...
So does that engine get refueled at the nuclear power plant?
Kidding aside, great looking loco. Seaview has lots of switching work, an engine like this is ideal.
How can you be so sure? From the timing it seems like just before the engineer hit the horn he would have been doing the third, short part of the whistle signal. But since he saw the truck he jammed...
Nice, the blue boxes have always been a favorite of mine. Unless the SP had repainted them with engine soot.
As I recall the Golden West System was an SP effort. They would rebuild freight cars,...
Great review! I was quite suprised to hear a 100% rating, but Seaview is no ordinary route.
A few things I thought maybe would be useful:
-Loco shed to store power in (Maybe one on Pine Island...
How about a GG0.5?

It'd be awesome to have two of those, one on each end of a commuter train.
Model railroaders use the same thing,...
