Maximum increments for me is 3%% (0.3%) which is slightly noticeable but not bad.

But he does respond.
I've been working on and off with the Gila again as well. How far past Yuma were you planning to go? I've got track from CP Colorado as far as esst Tucson, but wasn't...
Interesting fun for Sprint 2... I've got a 13+ mile straight run between Dundee Rd in Palatine and Three Oaks Rd in Cary...
When I set the QDirection between the two endpoints, my alignment ends...
Have you looked in the log file for an error or warning message? It's possible that you've loaded a route using ACE textures but ORTS may be expecting DDS.
Thanks again to all those who've taken time to donate and download the pre-release.
There will be more coming shortly... as a word of warning, don't do a whole lot of activity or path work on the...
Yeah, no. This sub-forum won't be given a funeral or closed down anytime soon.
Seems to be averaging 4 threads a month, which ain't bad in this day and age.
The "converting to UTF-16" make me wonder if it wasn't encoded as Unicode.
That's exactly what I had planned when I started the route -- a showcase for my favorite models, and lots of switching.
I thought so. When you place a sound source or region, I've always assumed it gets recorded in the WS file. But I don't use sounds very much in my routes...

Look for .WS files in the World directory... that's where sound regions get defined.

Won't disagree about missing frogs, which is why I use short BRG sections with inner rails for manual crossovers. Gives 95% of the visual effect of a diamond frog minus the cuts.

Thanks to all who have downloaded and provided some feedback. A few items in the route have been updated and a patch uploaded to Gumroad -- click on the download link from your receipt and you...
My problem with being limited to defined crossover sections is having to tweak track geometry to fit the pre-defined crossovers, sometimes at the expense of having accurate track. Having to choose...
That's going to be really time consuming if you need to do this for more than a couple tiles.
The adaptation of PSR by most US Class 1 railroads is bringing back quasi-scheduled unit and manifest trains, so a timetable might not be as crazy as you'd think ten years ago.
Coal is still...
Don't double post. If its going to be run in ORTS, post there.

Good luck. I'm sure the conversation will continue with or without Dale.
Nobody "abused" anyone aside from a couple inappropriate comments that were directed at Goku, and those comments were...

And the Speedpost method is probably safer now that TSRE only places it on one track unless you click on Expand.
Nothing I'm aware of in TSRE, and it might be a good addition. I've used the two speedposts to node method, but it does require diving into the TDB.
Upload from Digital Rails is currently being set up... Hopefully it will be available later tonight.
