The via metrica meter gauge track system would be the closes approximate.
I usually Google any error messages and it picks up threads here or Elvas tower detailing the problem. Works for common issues but not all
It seems to happen with track layed in TSRE.
Great, keep us updated. I hope to see it released and enjoy it :)
Indeed, I have seen that section and contemplate uploading some of my "stuck" routes there as well. I am at the part of my life (some years less than even half of yours) where I feel I can't give the...
Is there any timeline to release this route? Seen too many fantastic projects unfortunately fall to the wayside, without any release....
I just tried the Bernina route in OR
On a rainy day, needed autopilot to get myself up some of the 7% grades and can't count how many times I would surely have derailed on the way down!
Looking at the amount of effort and detail put in by the OP, I wonder if health issues maybe a reason here, I definitely hope not though!
Haven't heard from the poster for over a year, either he has given up on the hobby or moved to another project
5 hours??? That looks excellent
Would probably take me 5 years to get half as far
I had previously downloaded a rolling stock pack that container all necessary rolling stock for the routes included activities
Will see if the above noted coaches are within, verify if they can...
Cheers. I made a merge route of this route with some others, and in the course fixed many of the badly laid tracks. The scenery on this route is excellent for the period it was released, but the...
Hello
The original route was full of "dummy" points and crossovers, without the actual turnouts enabled. It could be what you are seeing.
That's because signalling is completely different in OR vs MSTS. If you do a simple timetable run with a single train, it would work fine. But throw in traffic and it's definitely going to deviate
Hi,
I stumbled upon this thread while starting my own project to use a throttle quadrant for Open Rails control.
For anyone interested, I found a solution that can be very well adapted to this...
Hmm this is intriguing and new to me. Let me see if I can hack something in the OR steam code to approximate this
Boso View Express (BVE) seems to be their preferred Sim
On top of that, audio for external views need to be in mono, while those for cab view in stereo. Frequencies also need to be considered for pitch adjustment in the SMS file
It sounds like you are trying to apply terrain to an existing route that was built without using real terrain.
I have news for you. It probably won't go very well. Even very flat areas have some...
What are the updates that you are making? Track, scenery?
Any screenshots?
I believe the quadtree is in the TD folder. If you just need the flagged tiles in a blank flat state I believe copying the TD folder to a new route and then regenerating the flagged tiles in RGE...
Am liking your use of vegetation on the hills. Are those static trees or forest objects?
Credit where it's due, MSTS activity editor still holds some regard in my book.
The alternate is using TSRE + OR Track viewer, which still lacks the track map UI for creating activities, a good...
If you're really looking into it, perhaps also the 999m limit on auto-placement?
Would make it much easier placing milepost markers
