OK.... what I've learned so far. Strip interactives and convert interactives appears to work **IF** you:

1) add both "AutoFix = True" and "LoadAllWFiles = true" to your TSRE settings file

Have you looked in the log file for an error or warning message? It's possible that you've loaded a route using ACE textures but ORTS may be expecting DDS.
