No. AI traffic trains can share the player path.
You should use the Dispatcher HUD screen.
It will show you where all your AI is and if any are stalled, the reason for the stall.

An old MSTS caution is:
Beware of laying long track sections across a tile boundary.
Not sure if present day game engines and editors still suffer from this.
I never thought of using TrackViewer! Thanks Eric. I did use it to locate rogue signals tho'.
The new Error function (v699) makes it easy if object is selected. Blue outline is visible a long way...
I experienced this on the PRRv2 rebuild. It was always a rogue tracksection which sometimes appeared untextured. They showed up mostly underground but some were at at a high altitude.

Hi Scott,
All very true for those still running MSTS.
Running Open Rails I was able to just about fill all yards with rail cars from New Jersey to Washington DC without impacting frame rates AND...
Correct.
Are you saying there is basically no scenery in the route other than propane tanks for switch heaters?\

Hi Randy,
Route Riter has a panel for Hard Linking although I've never used it .
Is this (if you know) a process for doing what you are describing above using the Link Shell Extension utility?

That particular track section has caused problems in the past. Where the section length is equal to or less than the minimum join length.
Here's the relevant post from 2009 >>>===>...
Oh my yes! That's why I say a first time TSRE user has a much easier time learning the new editor than an experienced MSTS editor user.
Hint;
Print up a single sheet of paper with the editor...
Just a heads up that there is (was?) a problem when setting the speed limits across multiple tracks:
I had many instances of the MPH speed entered into the form for the speedpost was being...
Sorry Goku but the only 'patches' I would consider must come from you or approved by you.
I've already found the part of the error fix routing does indeed fix these "too far from tile" errors very...
Thank you.
I will wait for Goku's approval of this patch.

Thanks for that.
Would it be possible to have the error function display the reason TSRE would not load the sigcfg.dat file?
Something like: 'ERROR IN SIGCFG line nnn'
I did review the TSRE...
Hi Goku,
When I began rebuilding the PRR-East @ Patch #6 level I didn't expect to verify if all the route was working properly . . . it's waaay too big!
I concentrated mainly on the NY Penn to...
Yes, I did remove this and many other unused shapes and textures.
I looked just now at my editing copy of the route and the shape and textures are there.
Did someone mention narrow gauge? I...
Glad I could help.
Have you looked through the Tip &Tricks thread? I put a lot of my track and road assembly methods in there.
regards,
That is weird!
My W10 system has no registry entries at all and RR works just fine, both the 7.26 version and the newer one also.

Hi Doug,
Does the OR Log give any clue as to what is not happening?
regards,
That's odd as I thought RR only looked for a train.exe file in the root directory of Train Simulator.
I distributed the PRR-East v2 with a dummy train.exe file in the root of the mini Train...
It is in the routes section of the Trainsim.com file library.
Here is a direct link to the route. prr-east-v2-install.zip

Visited Pittsburgh (western end of route) all signals gone. NOT complaining Goku, just passing on data points. Platform and speedposts seem to be okay but I have not fully looked into this.
Bug in...
Hi Goku,
I guess the program decided to remove all signals then because there were no signals at all between Washington to about 15 Km north of Baltimore where I saved and retired for the night. I...
I let it fly and it looks like it removed many many signals from the PRR!
I'm presently running the Washington to NYPenn activity and not a signal to be seen up to Landover Interlocking.
Glad I...
Try:
1. Select the road piece
2. Press Z . . . that should remove the Blue Line above the selected road section.
3. Now select the road again and attempt to drag it to where you want it...
