    Default Return to old colours!

    Hello,

I really love the new functionality of the forum, but this blue keeps knocking my eyes out!
What do you think, wouldn't it be better if the forum would be back in old colours. They were very elegant and everyone knew he was on trainsim.com, they were almost like a trademark. Now the forum looks like any other forum, which is really bad.

If this is easy to achieve (like just an option to be set in the admin's preferences, or a single line of code) I would suggest that the forum should get back its identity and its old colours!

I find this has a far cleaner, crisper and professional look and would not want to see a reversal.

I also feel the question has been very badly worded. Surely a Yes or No answer was all that was required. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my monitor or graphics card. I just prefer the new look.

    very unbiased poll
    NOT

EDIT: you could have just said you don't like the colors instead of wording it so badly
I too , like the cleaner look.

    Totally humourless, or what? x( x( x(

I would NEVER post such an unimaginative question! :P

Shame only two answers to choose from. :-p I actually hardly noticed any difference at all (I hadn't been using the forums for very long when the change was made) so when I came into the new version my reaction was something like, "Oh, I think they've changed the style slightly."

So my real answer would have been "I don't mind either way." I don't feel that I have anything to complain about concerning the new colour scheme - it's perfectly legible to me, and not unpleasant. But if it did go back to the old system I would probably shrug that off too.

I did register a vote for "keep it as it is" though, since to me the choice is an arbitrary decision, and if I see no reason to change it then why do so?

    Sincerely,
    The Toolman

I find the new blue very hard on the eyes too...but it isn't any better or worse than that old green/gold (tan, whatever).

And the icons to the left of the display, you can't tell if they are colored or not to determine what messages are new. (I have a 19' monitor, too...)
