    Default Grand Canyon Railway #19

Today I was coming into the yard at Alliance (Texas) on the BNSF and I looked up and saw a steam engine. As we got closer you could see it was GCRY #19. Does anyone know if they are selling/sold it? It was in good condition paint wise but the looks of it were bad otherwise.

Let me get Back on Track Here...
...I remember about a year ago the 19 was sold to the Canyon City and Royal Gorge Railroad in Bea-U-tiful Canyon City Colorado (with announcer voice there). They were going to restore her to opperation as she was only a staic display in Las Vegas (she no longer belonged to the GCRY). Now with the owner's current wranglin with the CHS on its Georgetown Loop Opperation, this might have fell through as now the CC&RG has a bunch of NG steam equipment that it could perhaps run through the gorge.

As far as steam builders I dont know. But she is either headed south or headed for the FWWR (like that will ever happen). I caught 19 today at BN North Yard which is right next to the FWWR yard.

The FWWR does repairs to their two steam locomotives. Maybe she is heading to us, Matt! Or she is going to Steamtown. Probably SteamTown, sadly.
