    I think it's better to have them both turned off. I'm not sure about this. See here if this may help you; [Link Expired]

    Raildriver needs them turned off.

    nVidia cards will slow down with them,
    ATI cards generally will not.

    I have a nVidia GeForce FX 5200 and I can't find any driver updates for it. The latest update I have is September 6th, 2003.

    I have version 6.14.0010.5216 (English)

    I did, and I got this;
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_61.77

    It doesn't show what Video Cards are supported. How am I supposed to know I'm not downloading a driver for a card I don't have? :(

    Does it support ALL GeForce Video Cards from mine to the latest? I need to know.

    I think it should. Read the readme text after you download it and then decide if you need or will it work for you or not. Only you can decide.

    I can't find any E-MAIL support on their site (like their saying "figure it out yourself!").

    Alright, I'll download it and hope for the best. Maybe it'll make MSTS run faster.
    Unfortunally it's not zipped up (it's an .exe). I have to install it just to make sure it's going to work.

    Crud!!!! ....
    "The software you are installing for this hardware;

    NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200

    has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify it's compatibility
    with Windows XP.

    Continuing your installation of this software may impair
    or destabilize the correct operation of your system
    either immediately or in the future. Microsoft strongly
    recommends that you stop this installation now and
    contact the hardware vendor for software that has
    passed Windows Logo Testing.
    "

    What should I do now? I don't want to hurt my system.

    Abort the setup if you can. BTW, do you have the AOL AIM or YM so I can talk to you???? My name in YM is the same as in AIM.

    I run 4x FSAA and 16x Aniso.

    In my experiments, Aniso has very little effect on framerate. FSAA has a huge impact, but I don't mind sacrificing a little performance for better image quality.

    If I go to 6X FSAA, my Raildriver starts to hunt a bit, so I stick with 4x.
