Default SD40-2B in BNSF H1. Quite unusual!!

I thought that this was odd in regards to the paint scheme. I think the green should be extended all the way, like the other end of the locomotive.

Note it has "Remote Control" capability.

That is odd. I see most of them with green all the way across. It looks like they took out the cab or it was one of the first experienmental paint scheme.

Its on of 3 ex BN SD40-2Bs, #7500-7502. I used to see them on occasion through here near chicago. It looks as though they painted it as if it had a cab, as im sure you all know the normal paint would have an orange cab and roof....
I do think it would look better if they had just striped it all the way around!

There is a photo on Al Krug's site of a GP60B booster in Heritage I, and that is striped all the way around.

I dont think there are any SD45-2B's in H1, There are very few (if any) left on BNSF. They were sold to NREX, and are in Santa Fe Yellow & Blue
