Well since all the terms have been covered I will just add this shot i got showing some of the brake positions. This is from a desktop GP40MC as you can see there are Release, Minimum, Full Service, Supression, Handle Off and Emergencey. Chazlee1 I think you are talking about the Air brake control valvue or the Brake pipe cut off valvue/switch in which the control valvue is used to set up the brakes for PASS/Graduated Release or FRT Direct release. It's the switch next to the auto brake on the WABCO control stands.
