Default Ohio Rail update: Beta Patch

Available now is a patch for the Ohio Rail Activity Packs. You need to have BOTH activity packs installed or you could get errors. (Psst! I don't really know that for certain you will, I'm just saying that so if you do, I can say... never mind).

The Activity Pack patch fixes (hopefully) activities #2, #4, #6, #12.

The Activity Pack patch also includes a RS3 texture and shape enhancement.

    Who should download this patch??

    YOU OF COURSE!

Where do you get the patch??

At my site on the troubleshooting page.

The Activity Pack Patch (try saying that three times real fast) uses the installer to make installation easy. So only point the installer towards your MSTS folder. The size is approximately 512K.

Donations of pineapple are deeply appreciated. :-)

Thanks Rich, as always you are right on the ball.....probably the best reason for getting your route, although certainly not the only one.......Still, IMHO, the best route out there....
Oh, and Hawk, about 3 seconds to download........sorry :) just had to say that......Cable modem is the only way to fly.......

    Great work as always Rich.

3 seconds, huh? I'm envious. My problem is the local phone company installed a new phone cabinet, utilizing fiber optics, getting ready for DSL, however, they tell me they have no intention of setting up DSL in my neighborhood. The cable company said pretty much the same thing.
It looks like my only option is satelite, but have you checked the pricing for a satelite internet connection? About $500.00 initial outlay, and about $60.00 a month. That's ridiculus.
So I guess I'm stuck with a 26,400bps connection, or sell my house and move back into town. Naw, I can't do that. Don't like living in the city.

Here is a less expensive solution:

Find a friend in town where who has cable modem. Buy MSTS and present it to them as a gift. Offer to help get them started. Get them addicted. Show them how to sign up for this site. Show them how to download Marias 3.0. Make sure they have a cd burner. Casually mention that you are blown away by their awsome download speed and it would be nice if some day the cable company would ever find its way out to your area. Finally get around to mentioning it would be nice if you could download from T-S on their computer and burn onto a CD.

    It is a win-win!!
