Default Maximum exhaust streams (ExhaustFX) on diesels?

Anyone know what the maximum streams of loco exhaust are in MSTS? I've got a Santa Fe SWBLW in the works, and it has four exhaust stacks, just like some of the CR GP9s, and I wanted to know if it was possible to have four exhaust streams, as I've never seen it done, and the CF7 model in the libary here has only two streams, but 4 stacks.....

    Take care!

    Hi,

I'll do that little test, and report the results to you.

    Hi,

I have a vague remembering that 2 is maximum possible.
It was discussed last year when some guys were developing older locomotives with 4 stacks.

Ok, I might be able to find a way past this.

If two of the exhaust stacks are close together, it might be possible to "cheat" by expanding one exhaust stream to cover both stacks. If won't be perfect...but it should suffice at a glance.

    That would work.

At the moment, I haven't found a way to do 3 or more, but I'll keep working.
