    Default ERROR...DXDIAG.TXT

    G'day again from OZ....
I was wondering if some knowledgeable person out there can give me some clues to possibly fix a problem I am continually having, when I load certain activities. These activities are a cross section...not just from one source. It happens with downloaded acts. as well as ones from payware.

When I go to activate one of these acts. I see the bars in the lower screen go up to ten, and then stop...I then get the usual microsoft notice "send or not send" etc etc.
Upon looking into the info contained in the message to Microsoft I see two errors......"DWMDRIVERS.DAT and DXDIAG.TXT".
One particular activity that acts up is the new FP45 Tehachapi add-on....although I can run that same train in "Explore Route" with no problem.
    I have Direct X 9b....

    Thanks for any help

    Gidday Ray,

Those 2 files are not the error, they just convey the problem to M$.

I would download Route Riter and ConBuilder to track down the problem.
You particular fp45 problem may be related to one of the AI trains that is used in the activity.

    Cheers
    Derek

    Derek,

Fixed the problem....what I did was to store EVERYTHING I was not needing...i.e. I only unstore the particular road I want to run on, so MSTS has only one road to contend with.
    Problem solved !
    Cheers
