    HI,
I use Dzug.zip found in the library and I think it sounds AWSOME! Also get wgnsnd2.zip and you,l be good to go!

The 2 options I'd suggest: (1) 3DPM had some nice payware sounds. (2) If you got MLT's Cascade Crossing, update your sounds with these freight sounds. IMO the MLT sounds are excellent (love that flange squeal!), and I've slowly been replacing the 3DPM sounds with those from CC.

    I downloaded:

Generic Reefer Car .Wag Files (rfg_base.zip)
Generic Open Hopper .Wag Files (ohp_base.zip)
Generic Close Hopper .Wag Files (chp_base.zip)
Generic Tank Car .Wag Files (tnk_base.zip)

Has anyone tried those out? Are they good? or should I go with the options mentioned above?

D/L the NALW NS C40-9 pack in the F/L and the update. Those are by far the best I've heard other than the ones from Cascades.

    Hi,

The sounds for cars are not tied to routes. You simply need to alias the cars that you are interested in changing to the .sms that you want to use. You will change the sound line in each of your .wag files.

    Check out this tutorial:

    Hope this helps.
