Intermodal Train Length

Okay, searched and searched and searched the forum and the web figuring somewhere I'd find info, but I can't find it.

Does anyone know what the typical HP/Ton ratio is for Intermodals, and more specifically, what was/is the general length of a "Hot Intermodal" like the ones that ATSF put its GP60Ms on?

Hot intermodal trains generally can be any length up to 8000' or so. They tend to vary a lot, one day will see a train of 4000', and the next day it will be 7000'. HPT is generally 2-3HPT, but have been as high as 5-7 (on generally short trains). Here are some example trains:
