Donner is....well, it is okay. No scenery, and the textures are not so good, but they can easily be replaced. No tunnel portals, and some other flaws. Out of the 2 routes you mentioned, Conrail Indy wins hands down.

I've ran a couple and in the about 200 mile route there are about 3 AI's

    GE Mega, the usual stuff

99% Double track from Indianapolis to mile 120.0 (I think) and then about 15 miles of Single, then about 5 (?) of double before entering Marion.

Definalty Indianapolis is one of my favorites :-)

    Search any of the following:

    gemegav2.zip
    Clayton Notgrass
    Adam Brooks
Or type in "CSX" and most of them will be pretty good

And you will have a good start ;-)

I recommend, under "Modern Diesel Locomotives", punching in the following search terms:
    CSX AND "Chris Denbow"

You'll find plenty of CSX locomotives for download, and they're all high-quality. Be sure to get the texture updates that Mr. Denbow et al released.

The AI traffic is based on actual traffic on the line. So if you run a train that starts near 8:00 AM you will meet the trains you would most likely see during that run period.

Now some runs are busier than others but I can't recall which ones are which.

I try to limit downloads so you do not have to chase after 2000 things. The NALW mega pack is a good one because you download one thing and get a variety of RR's
