Official SD40-2 Content Update & 1.x update from MS

Hello all. I recently reinstalled MSTS after a few months down time. After my last uninstall I deleted all of the downloaded content including the updates.

I was wondering where I could find the official SD40-2 content update on Microsofts site or elsewhere, because all I could find is the version 1.1 update on the page that announces Train Sim 2.

Yes. The updates include the additional US freight cars and the totally inaccurate British coaches.

The interest appears to be sustained. Two plus months later, I'm still seeing over two dozen hits per day on the page Charlie referenced.

What is it and what does it do ? I have a SD40-2 and the only thing wrong is that it does not show up in Sviewer but it does show in the game. What do I look for to see if I already have the update ?

That sounds like the update SD40-2 then. There is an added ")" in the .S file that causes that problem - there should be a few different fixes for it here in the library.
