RE: Those of you wanting to repaint
I have a tutorial here: http://www.highworth.freeuk.com/
And if anybody wants "one-on-one" help getting started in repainting models for MSTS, please feel free to contact me at quill2000@hotmail.com
This quick tutorial may help you get started also:

Here's another more recent one, this time for scenery items (or parts thereof).

RE: Those of you wanting to repaint
Well then, Chuck, you're just the guy I want to talk to. I'm a little confused by the licensing of the NALW Big Blow.
The original readme states:
These Models may only be hosted on www.trainsim.com with out the express written permission of North American Locomotive Works!
No Changes or reskins are permitted to these models with out the express written permission of North American Locomotive Works!
These models, Sounds and textures are not/ and can not be used for commercial puposes. All rights reserved by the original authors.
but the readme with the CN BB says:
1. Any reskin/model modification must be totally distributed as freeware and not used for monetary gain of any sort!
2. All distribution of your model containing any NALW content must be via <www.trainsim.com> and the reskinners own site unless authorized in writing by NALW.
3. All original NALW documentation must be included and the appropriate credit given to The North American (Virtual) Locomotive Works and its members.
4.Your installation must not interfere in any way with the installation and operation of the original NALW package.
5. You acknowledge that NALW and the original authors retain all rights to their content.
6. We reserve the right to revoke this license at our discretion and without prior notice.
Now, I'm guessing that the CN readme supercedes the original UP version, but my repaint uses the original UP skins as templates, not Jim England's CN skin, so I'm not really covered under the CN reskin license.
So, can I release my skin if I adhere to the terms of the newer licence, or do I need your explicit permission?
Following are shots of the unweathered version. Got anything else to paint CN? I've got a few gallons of zebra-stripe paint left over...

RE: Those of you wanting to repaint
I have a question. Is there any way to make an ACE file a BMP? What I am wanting to do is renumber some locomotives of the Streamlines CSX pack. There are no BMP's just ACE files. If not what is the way I can renumber them?
