I'm thinking of getting DEMEX and JUMPER from Digital-Rails. What I would like to know is whether these are really as effective tools for MSTS route creation as they claim? Also how easy are they for a relative newcomer to work with?

Yes, they are very effective with route building, and very easy to use.

I agree that Demex and Mosaic are real nice to have, and worth getting.

The stickies are only the tip of the iceberg. If you are really interested in making a route for MSTS download the route builders guide by Michael Vone. Available here https://www.trainsim.com/vbts/tslib....ight&fid=29931

Read that until you begin to understand it, then open the route editor and have a go. If you do not understand something, there is a wealth of information to be found in this forum using the search function. Should you be unable to find what you are looking for, ask the question here, but do not expect an immediate answer. You can also go to the steam4me site, and look in the tutorials section under Route Building. http://msts.steam4me.net/tutorials/index.html

    Good luck and happy building.
