Version and Release Date: Version 3.0, March 2007

Description: A highly realistic model of parts of Great Northern's Kalispell, Hi-Line, and Butte Divisions. Included are the lines from Whitefish to Blackfoot (Marias Pass), Blackfoot to Havre, Havre to Great Falls, and Great Falls to Sweet Grass. All hundreds of main- and branch lines are fully operational and completely set up with interactives. Scenery is still a work in progress (see below for details).

Installation Method: Self-extracting archive to be installed in your train-sim\routes directory. Run Installme.bat after extraction. Standalone installation, superseding all previous versions. Delete all previous versions of the route or move them to another directory prior to the installation of this version.

Add-Ins required: XTracks, v. 3.18 will work. NewRoads 3.2 also required. Earlier versions will require trial and error. The route should also be run with MSTS-Bin installed, in order to improve performance and decrease failure probability on this huge route.

Known Problems: Route is still under construction. Some scenery-bugs may appear. Signalling and interactives should work okay, though. Some parts of the track do not follow real-world profiles close enough, like for example Essex-Java. In average, grades and curves are similar to their real world counterparts, though.
