I will build one if no one beats me to it. I have a free downloadable 3d model of this car at:
http://www.fastmodel.com/models/
Let me know if you decide to use this model to start your own MBTA Type-7, I will help you translate it. I have some good texture maps as well.

how about you post a messege with a zip file in it with a train-sim
size texture files in it so i can edit them for train-sim and i can
then convert the 3ds file to s format. you can make the eng and sd files. then i can put them together with your pcc cab and sounds
and it wude probely work in train-sim.:-)
My long range plans call for me to try to build the MBTA Red Line. It will use all MSTS default stuff, it won't be anything like what the CTA line (which I eagerly await) but will feature subway and surface running.
But let me get the FEC done first :-)
repliy to this thread if want to do a working msts mbta type-7 lrv.
Is anyone working on any MBTA Subway cars or the Trolley's
Anything MBTA is welcome. I'm still learning to use PaintShop Pro and Train Sim Modeler, so I'm not much help at the moment.
Cheers,
Al
I downloaded the LRV from Trolley Model site but was unable to convert to 3d Canvas. The PCC car is on the site as a 3DC file so it was simple. If it could be translated it would help. I probably still couldnt master the articulated design anyway so if someone else is going for it, Do it!

Resurrecting this thread: the fastmodel.com site seems to have gone away. Any chance that type 7 model could be uploaded to thingiverse or another model-sharing site?
I'm looking to build a working N-scale type 7.
Edit: FOUND! New home seems to be http://www.3dtransit.com
