Thread: Pacific Coast Trainz looking for members!

Default Pacific Coast Trainz looking for members!

I myself am going to defect to trainz as soon as i get it. I am planning to start an online model railroad club. Mainly, we will have online "operating sessions" where as many of us as possible can operate trains on a giant layout. I am currently working on a websitefor this, and will be posting it shortly.

Go to Auran's website http://www.virtualtrainz.com and go to the videos, just watch them and you will be drooling all over the floor!!

The price is $51.95 American and it is available only on Auran's website. It will be shipping in exactly 15 days if you ordered before Nov 15 2001!

Trainz will be shipping with 3 modules: There will be the Trainz viewer, route builder and driver! With a lot more to come!

I don't think online playing mode is available in the first release.

nope it's not, You get the Viewer for locomotives, Route editor, and of course the Driver! The next module to come out will be Yardmaster, it adds animated loading and unloading of freight cars and will be based in RR yards, it will also be playable online. The release of this is not known as of yet, but it all looks great!!

Does that mean your BC Rail MSTS route is doomed? Or will you continue to work on it?

You're going to have a bit of a wait for the Trainz Online module (d'oh!!!), but its going to be good once it comes out :)

That's too bad, I was kind of looking forward to it.
