    Default Updates to BVE Sites?

can I ask where everyone has gone?
the main Hub of BVE sites have not been updated, soon they will reach a year without anything. The only person who seems to be doing anything is Steve Green - but i understand he was taking an active leave?

bve trains, scots rail sim, railsim routes -- three main ones that havent been updated, seems like they have been abandoned. saxon loco works was another i thought had gone but i was glad that it is back!

is there any news on the sites?
i do not mean to pester, but there is a line between pestering and asking a real concerning question.

the other thing is the forum. it seems to have been updated, but there is still a sticky saying about bve being in beta and lots of stuff that doesn't need to be anymore IMHO.

As for the forum, that's upto Nels. Persoanlly, I don't like it - I find it hard to navigate.

As for the sites the webmasters are busy people so only really update their websites when needed.

My website probably wouldn't be updated as much but I like to keep the databases up-to-date and files with no home keep popping in my direction :) On websites, there isn't really much need to update so often as they don't all have (or need) databases etc which require attention. Maybe the odd progress report every now and again.

Is it not better to be spending time working on a route rather than updating the website every 20mins? Having said that, I do keep doing minor updates to BRJ, if just to make sure people know it's still active.

I have been updating my website and route Maastricht_v8 regularly now, adding and removing track as per satellite views; also scenery has been added at several locations, like Lunetten, before Blerick and Roermond, Sittard and Eysden. There are still a lot of empty stretches, and if anyone wants me to fill a particular one with scenery, let me know.
