    Would a download manager help?

Isn't "Firefox" supposed to have one built in? I went over to it after having problems downloading summat else, which then worked,

I think it's going to be a matter of timing and luck!

Right, here's the latest! I installed a Firefox extension called "Downloadall" or something like that, as an extra "manager" I have downloaded the train to it's appropriate file, but starting Maybank's HST route (for instance) it goes so far in the startup sequence - then stops. As far as I can see the majority of the HST's sounds and images are there, in the train folder, I wonder now if I should have sent the file to the desktop and opened it from there as having bypassed the usual install setup, something must be missing!

I do feel sorry for you Ado 16 because you’re missing out on a seriously good train. Couldn’t you just download it on a mate’s computer and put the file on a CD?

Now here's a thing. Whatever has affected the HST download has also affected my perfectly downloaded-run with no problems Class 66. Which also now, no longer loads!! Could this be a clue?

Sounds like a computer problem, Ado, rather than anything to do with BVE per se.

Well! In the vague world of th net? I kicked off a download this morning, and what d'you know? It loaded! Just like that!! No problems at all! It's very good isn't it - couldn't turn it up too loud at this point - that'll have to come later. I have to admit though - I am a little more struck with the 153 :o!

Congratulations on your HST download (at last :+ !!!). What's a 153 BTW ;-) . Sorry, only joking (no I'm not :)). England beats Ecuador, HSTs beat 153s IMHO ;-) :P Turn the volume up ... you might change your mind.

    Default Link no longer works

Okay doesn't anyone know of a alternative place to get the HST for BVE as well as a good repository of other hard to find BVE and open BVE trains and routes? Honestly I see way to much being developed for MSTS and do't get me wrong MSTS is great. However Open BVE and BVE are very nice train simulators. Goodness I can actually use the keyboard to interact with the start screen and get the trains moving.
