Default PAR 511 on the Rumford Branch.

Well, I didn't expect to see it so early. but here it is. :)

These shots aren't the greatest, but I wasn't aiming for them to be good, they are more reference shots to me.

goes to prove how close things are..

Well, tons of Rbox and Fbox boxcars, must of been from Rumford.

Thanks Jason, and Indeed it was a good catch. I was talking to a friend of mine online, and she said the train was coming and I better hurry up or I will miss it. :D

To bad she hates trains though. :P

Anyways, rode my BMX bike half a mile to the crossing to get these pics. :P

There was an article in TRAINS a couple months ago about railfanning from a bike...

    James,
I tend to ride a bike to the crossing not because I don't feel like driving or walking, but it's easier. Walking takes to long for me because I walk slow, and can't run worth beans, and also with a car, and the traffic on the roads that I live near, it would be hard to get in, and out to where I want to do.

The speed limit for the train is 10 mph through downtown. But to be honest, I think they do about 20mph. Also, with it going 10, traffic backs up, bad.
