    Default Need a Suggestion

    Good Day Folks!

Well it's tax return time, and I would like some suggestions on a payware route. I am looking for something located in the Midwest region. (WI,IL,MN,Ohio) area. looking to spend about $30-$50. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Off the top of my head, the only routes I can think of in the geographical region you are seeking is Michigan Iron Ore, the LS&I route by Maple Leaf Tracks. For more info:

And the LTV Mining Route by Abacus. For more info:

I do have both routes. If you like Iron Ore Railroads both routes are very nice. The Engines, rolling stock, structures and scenery of both routes are very well done. The LTV Mining Route was one of the first payware routes and does show it's age. It also has a problem with the grades into Taconite Harbor being too steep. Other than these two routes, I cannot think of any other payware routes set in the Midwest.

    Take care,
    Rich S.

Rich Garber's Cumberland is set in Kentucky; it's an L&N branch.

Rich's work is outstanding... I have his 2 freeware routes, I see that this one is $54 for the entire route, I am going to order it this weekend, as I also have Activity Generator, and their is a template for it. Thanks for the suggestion. can't wait to run it :-)
