When I try to download Z01, I end up with the V_9 zip....

Also, the last version of winzip errors on attempting to unzip...tried downloading several times.

You could use the RouteRiter procedure...

When you download the CUT files to a temp. folder, they should look like this.

Then you can use WinZip 8.5 or newer also you can use WinRAR to decompress the spanned files. It's all done using only the Zip file as shown.

Well I've solved one problem only to have another...

I downloaded Cutv_9.z01 to my desktop but it comes out as cutv_9.zip...I simply renamed it..put it with the other and then succesfully unzipped. But now, even after installing latest version of xtracks...when I click on the route in the msts menu...it freezes msts requiring me to reboot from my computers front switch. I did run the install.bat with all the proper default where they should be. None of the other route have this problem. I've had this problem before with another route but its been so long I don't remember what the cause is....guess I spend most of my time developing scenery objects and not enough simming..lol

    Any suggestions?

    Bill

    Charlie,
Thanks for the guidance. I followed your advice and the route works fine.
    Thanks again.

    Hi Bill

    > Any suggestions?

    - Any activities coming with it that might call for an item you do not have? If so, hide the .act files in a subfolder.

    - Any custom track sound regions called for by the ttype.dat that you do not have (as these are interactive objects, any error with them freezes the sim).

    - Any other add-ons required, such as NewRoads, YTracks etc? Check the read-me file, and make sure you really have the latest build of the global/tsection installed

    - Did you already check the route for errors using RouteRiter?

    - Did you already make an integrity check of the .tdb and .rdb with TSutils (also in RouteRiter, see TSutils tab)
