Thread: Headlight is on but seems to be blocked...

    Default Headlight is on but seems to be blocked...

    I previously wrote about Mars light problems and headlights shining with a red glow instead of white on my 3D Trains F7 ver3 reskin.

    That was fixed. Now the headlight works fine on high and dim shining ahead with its white glow. Looking at the locomotive from the front however, it now looks like there is something blocking the headlight. You can see the light shining behind it.

    I have looked at the exact same 3D Trains F7 ver3 with another skin, and that one works fine. Same location...same time of day. I even compared the light section in the ENG file and they are identical.

    It is the same whether I use Bin 1.7.022420 or I uninstall it.

    Any suggestions as to what else I can check. Many thanks.

    Compare the 3rd number in the position line of the bright and dim headlight sections to the number in the working unit. There may be a difference in them. Let us know what you find there. The one version 3 Funit I still can find uses 7.365 and 7.38 in the dim and bright headlights, respectively, instead of the 7.22 you show. Unfortunately, the one I have has a Mars light too and may be different than yours.
