    Default Question about jumping consists

I thought that George had corrected the tendency of consists to 'jump' over to the intended route when going through converging switches when the switch stays lined to the main, but you are coming from the side. I am running 7.022420 version of the bin and have noticed that consists are still doing the 'jump'. Am I wrong that there has been a fix.

    Hi Sharon !

This jumping to other tracks when traversing trailing switches in activities or when leaving reverse loops can be cured by using either Bill Prieger's SLACK or my UNIVERSAL SLACK Couplers !

Thanks Otto, but I am one of Bill's testers so I have his couplers and this is on CNW.

    Sharon,

Remove all "rigid" statements from your locomotives couplers. That should cure the problem.

    Joe,

Since this is within the C&NW vr, I am limited as to what I can do with the rolling stock.

Sharon, sorry for being so late to the party but I've been ill this last week. I know the rollingstock you are using. The passenger equipment has both "couplinghasrigidconnection" lines active to eliminate slack. When using passenger equipment equipped with these couplers you must fully path thru any and all trailing point switches. Sorry but it's a caveat to not having slack in passenger equipment.
