Reporting File Library Issues

If at any time you find a significant problem or a piracy issue with any files in the file library, the proper way to report this is to send an email/PM to Nels (site owner) directly since he is the one who manages the F/L. Moderators cannot make changes there.

His email is nels"at"flightsim.com (replace "at" with @).

Do not hesitate to contact him regarding piracy issues or other significant issues regarding files. It is important to contact him directly for the quickest response. Mods also generally try to report piracy to Nels, but we might miss it.

Obviously, when a file or set of files has a problem or does not seem to work, there is no problem in putting up a thread about it in the main forum. Don't be mean, just report the issue. Then, depending upon the author's response, further action can be taken at that time.

Thanks for the support. We all want the library to be a valuable place to share this hobby with each other.

I sent a note to Nels regarding your trying to reach him. You might send another email, but change the subject line and body in case something about it might have caused a spam filter to catch it somewhere. He is the only person I am aware of who can address library issues. Mods are not granted any ability to manage the library.

i guess train-sim file library is full of people trying to download rolling stock and locomotives i guess the problem should be resolved bye september

Funny thing, I've been trying to contact Nels myself about a duplication of one of my uploads (AMTKCC.zip and AMTKMCC.zip, respectively) with no luck. I was using the @ "trainsim.com" and "trainsim.com" suffixes though, and I'm quite sure the latter is active.

Tell you the truth, I'd be quite worried that something might be wrong if it wasn't for the fact that the file library is being updated as usual.

EDIT: Someone suggested that I use the flightsim.com suffix. Just did - see what happens. I find it odd that the main page still retains an email address of "trainsim.com" though.

Since this topic is back on, I'll mention that a pirate that we've discussed before is posting here in the forum. He has posted a few items in the file library recently, which was the subject of justifiably angry threads. I reported him to one of the moderators, so hopefully the problem will be rectified ASAP.
