Thread: Future Plans?

    Default Future Plans?

Now what do we do? Microsoft probably won't give us the code for the game, but it's worth a try. Might as well go on to Trainz 09!

M$ to give us the codes? Are you kidding???????? Not a chance! What we do now is to continue on with MSTS like what most of us have been doing for almost 8 years.

Just because MSTS-2 is dead doesn't mean you have to stop playing MSTS. I heard a lot of people saying stuff like that, is it a mind trick or something?
I have returned to TSing and to TS.com.

Still running my 2 hours or so on the MSTS virtual rails as before the MS world ended. I have RS but am waiting for more American content and physics/operational controls that are better then toy trains.

If you have been an MSTS user for some years then you will be disappointed.
Trainz does not provide the realism that MSTS does.

I have them all - Trainmaster 4, Trainz, BVE, Zusi, MSTS1, KRS - and for all its faults, and there are many (as we have come to know and love! ), Train Simulator as it can be played in 2009 provides arguably the best all round simulation of rail-roading.

Look at what is still possible in this version - LSRC, Birmingham, L&HR, Blackfoot, Buffalo, just to name a few. Now think of what still can be dome to bring the scenery to life. I am sorry, I can't remember his full screen name, but the guy who re-did the A&O sub - simply stunning! If that kind of artistry can be applied to old and new routes alike, along with whatever new brilliant ideas come along, this sim can withstand the tortures of time for quite awhile.

God Bless all you folks that have the brain power, and the means to apply it, and the kindness to share it with the rest of us.
