Allegheny Rails Route

Version and Release Date: 2.0, February 4, 2009

Description: This is a semi-fictional route, losely based on the Pennsylvania, Bessemer & Lake Erie, Baltimore & Ohio, Pittsburg and Shawmut, and Western Allegheny railroads in western Pennsylvania. The route features real places and terrain, whereas the railroad structures and industries have been freelanced and extended to provide for more acitivties following the concept Richard Garber introduced with his masterpiece, Ohio Rails.

Installation Method: Update to Version 1 of the Route. Comes in ZIP archive, prior installation of version 1 is required.

Add-Ins required: XTracks, v. 3.18 will work. NewRoads 3.2 also required. The route should also be run with MSTS-Bin installed, in order to improve performance and decrease failure probability on this highly detailed route.

Size of Download: 75 MB in one ZIP archive, plus 220 MB for version 1.
