Default New track textures coming soon!

    Colleagues,

After being fed up with constantly running into problems with the default or more precisely modified track rules that hide in the Kuju assets folders, I decided to create my own track (actually a repaint of the Cajon Pass tracks ) for my routes. I found some great track photos on CGTextures.com and ended up with seven new tracks: heavy mainline tracks with grey and yellow ballast, light branchline tracks with grey and yellow ballast, two kinds of abandoned and heavily worn out tracks, and a mainline track without ballast (not pictured below).

Below is a preview. Just need to do some final adjustments, then I will also upload them as a stand-alone package in case anybody is interested in using them in their own route.

    Cheers!

    Hi, Thanks!

The seven tracks will all be part of the same track rule, so you can easily use them in the same route. If you clone and then modifiy the track rule you can even add more track textures. (Open the track rule in RW_Tools, look for the very first entries just below <TrackTypes>, these list all the tracks in use by this track rule.)

    Cheers!

Is there any way to "rough up" the edges of the ballast. Perfectly straight edges of aggregate don't seem right.
