    Thumbs up Looking great so far!

    Note that the ballast is significantly taller than the original design (about double). Using the terrain tool on the track will reveal this, and the gaps in ballast will close when using mainline or spur track (as seen in the posted I posted). If you prefer not to change the terrain under the rails, you can use the the offset tool and place a strip of gravel (SR Track Gravel loft, located in the Track > Miscellaneous section).

    Basic Track Naming:

    Mainline = Tall Ballast
    Spur = Medium Ballast
    Branch Line = Low Ballast
    Yard = No Ballast

    C1 = Concrete Ties
    W1 = Wood Ties

    Tracks are split into two sections - the first group has buffers or portals, while the second group does not:

    NB = No Buffer
    NG = No Guardrail
    NP = No Portal (tunnels)

    Default Wooohooo!

    Just finished laying 168 miles of track and yards a few weeks ago, cant wait to get my hands on the ScaleRail! And did I hear Hack say that the ballast on this is twice as tall as the default?

    Yep. The image I posted doesn't necessarily show this, but it does show how the gap in ballast is closed when using mainline or spur track.

    Hi Tom,

    There is a tutorial on changing track throughout a route in the RW_Tools help files.

    I plan on releasing several basic versions for BNSF, UP, CSX and others.
