    Default Big Horn v2 BETA

    Colleagues,

Good news, well hopefully good news.

I just managed to find some time to upload the new beta of the Big Horn route, I'd be happy if some of you could download and install the files and see if they work. The files are already set up like a 'real' file library upload.

You need two files, a route and an assets pack -- before anyone asks, they are in two parts intentionally so future route expansions do not have to redownload the assets over and over again, which should save quite a lot of bandwidth over the years.

Edit: Here's a new upload, not strictly necessary but most likely helpful, a pack of two basic free roam scenarios:

Please let me know if something does not work.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

As far as I can tell, this one should fully overwrite version 1. Uninstallation of it should not be needed.

    Cheers!

    Hi Michael,

I've installed it OK, however, there is NO scenarios folder in the route !!!

Yep! Readme does not mention the track changer as V1 did. Is this needed?

    Hi,

And thanks for testing the route.

Scenario Folder: Yes, there is none yet. A few scenarios (default and non-default stock) are in the works, I will add two basic default-only free-roams before shipping out the route or upload it as a seperate package.

Tracks-Makeover: This one is not needed any more. I replaced all tracks in v2 so they now use my GN-Tracks with Tom Moyer's switch stands.

    Cheers!

    Smile Thanks!

Thanks a lot for this, I downloaded and installed both packs without issues, glad to say rw tools reports no missing assets.

    Looking forward to those scenarios.

Got in and created a freeroam scenario. Hate to come up from the center of the world. I have not done the complete route, but have founds a missing railbridge and some flying autos. Looks interesting.

    Default center of the world

Hmmm. Is that what's going on? Usually I can fix broken consists but I couldn't figure out where I was when I put it into edit mode.
