Like a dangling carrot... all these look great. However, I would still be stuck with the shortcomings of the Trainz distribution system and asset acquisition nightmare.

A plea: A route name w/pics would be nice so I will know what I'm looking at. Is the above route a commercial offering?

It is WhiteshoreFinal freeware at Jointed Rail.

As far as missing assets in Trainz routes, most that can't be found tend to be irrelevant like a trash can or fire hydrant.

    Once again: Excellent looking.

What region does this route portray?

Andy Turnbull's Eastern Kentucky 3.1.1, available again, updated with Billboard Speedtrees.

Artistry ages well, EK3 was a TS2010 route.

Someone asked what is a "billboard speedtree".

One of the content creator came up with this mesh using the SpeedTree creator.

Takes a billboard tree texture on the right and makes the assets on the left. The mesh height is a variable giving more than one tree

    height from one asset.

Gives the illusion of a three dimensional tree.

    Harold --

What's the advantage over "normal" SpeedTrees?

The distance LODs with regular Speedtrees are 2d Cutouts. The little circled trees below.

The Billboard Speedtrees keep their integrity as far as the view distance.

Regular SpeedTrees go funky with too much fog.

The Billboard Speedtrees can be made by anyone who has a tree texture not expensive Speedtree software.

The Billboards don't render well in TRS2019 but then no deciduous trees render well in TRS2109.
