Well, let's see how long it takes to trash this new forum.

Dirty oily greasy. Got one template without lettering or logo, so we can tinker with both until we find something we like.
Cabview needs work too, is there a free 44 tonner cabview with working gauges and controls?

Kitbashing that blasted cabview was a chore, but I finally beat that unholy Content Creator Plus ("Plus" what?!) into submission.

Final version will depend on what type font and logo Phil likes, if he likes any of it. Let me know, Phil, we can also reverse the colors, change the colors, or make it a solid with a stripe or something.

Font is Gaudy Handtooled with the stroke set for the base yellow and the fill set for no texture, base colors are yellow 255 162 1 (same as PO&N yellow) red 128 0 0 (standard dark red). After weathering they drift away from that, some repaints I adjust hue, saturation, and lightness to represent fading or ground in grime.

Well, success, finally got the five 44 tonners uploaded after several attempts resulting in "upload failed, you are not logged in" over the last few days. Next up an Alco RSD5;



Now let's see what the Three Blind Mice in the paintshop are up to, besides accidentally painting each other;



"See how they run, see how they run", got a TRS2004 SD9 that I figured out how to raise up so the wheels sit on the rails instead of the crossties;



Works good, won't require hunt the KUID, so reskin that for Harbormaster and IndustRail.



One thing missing, this is supposed to have dynamic numbering, clicking with the question mark and assigning a number don't work. They're in the mesh;



But whatever makes them show up in the game ain't working.

However they were rather hazardous as Engineers, so I figured I better put them in the paint shop. That way i got an excuse when stuff turns out like this;



Gotta find a better template for the doors and vents for the SD-40. Funny thing - For this one I click with the question mark and give it a running number, there it is. Justin's F7s automatically add a running number when you place one (it can be changed, but it starts out with one), the SD9 has all the kibbles and bits for running numbers but they only work in the mesh viewer, not in the game?

Found a BN SD40 that didn't have the doors and vents too muddied up, since there's no lettering on the sides at all, so I made a better greyscale overlay.



Need to find out where the handrails and fuel tanks map from.
What? No, get over there, it's not your turn.



Normally I do a "clean" prototype first, then clone and weather the clones, but all the originals are so heavily weathered I just went with it.
Stop trying to get in front, I said it's not your turn.



Using the numbers from the Harbormaster skin, gonna try out the original UP red numbers next and see what that looks like.
Later, I'm trying to get pictures of the new SD40!



I thought about cloning the lighted cabview, but there's a little teeny spot on the dash of the shell that determines the exterior color, and I'd need to clone both the mechanism and shell with megabytes and megabytes for a few lousy little pixels. So any SD40 regardless of road will use the same cabview with the muddy dark brown hood.

Well, number 12 is jealous of the new kid and keeps trying to upstage him, so I guess I gotta take a picture of him too.
