Odd RE Shape Issue

After placing a new model in RE, a strange error occurs. For whatever reason, it appears to reflect the .ace file from the shape and outward. The problem happens randomly and at all angles. Any idea what could be the cause?

I've had that happen once. Never found out why or how.

I remember having this happen to me on one of my station terminals. I concluded it was too high a poly count. I suggest shaving off a few polys off the model and see if that helps.

That looks like the "Flashing Poly" issue that comes up from TSM models. Did you use Train Sim Modeler to create that shape?

I don't know about TSM to direct you to exactly how to fix it.

The model contains a bad poly - probably one that was mapped perpendicular to the edge instead of the face.

Thanks for the replys guys... did turn out to be a mapping error. All fixed:
