Need to know how to change the target of RD

How do I change the target MSTS exe that rd is using to start ? (without making it miss)

I'm just taking a SWAG here, but I think the RD manager uses the install path in the system registry, so the only way to do it would be to uninstall MSTS and reinstall in a new location. Either that or hack the registry.

For mini routes, however, there's a way;
1. Start the RD manager, select the engine type but do not hit the play button.
2. Start the mini route with the train.exe in the alternate folder, or use a shortcut if you have one.
3. While still in the menu screen hit ALT TAB (MSTS don't like ALT TAB if you're actually running in a route).
4. Go to the RD manager, click the Play button. Instead of launching a new MSTS it will take you back into the one that's already running.
